Financial Aid Program

We at Drakken firmly believe that education is an investment rather than a cost and has a profound effect on the future of any child and family. The Drakken Financial Aid Program is there to ensure that deserving and hardworking students get the opportunity to partake high standards of education. Thus, this program will not only give a chance to the student for a better future but will in a longer run have a significant impact on the society as these students will help and support their families in future.

We will make every effort that deserving students (based on assessed financial need and within available resources) can be provided appropriate financial assistance to make it possible for them to pursue quality education at Drakken. Financial assistance, if given, could be any of the following:

  • Full Scholarship
  • Partial Scholarship
  • Loans
  • Documents Required :

    • Retirement Order/ Final Settlement Letter in case any one of the parents / guardians is retired.
    • Income certificates of all earning members of the family – This includes salary slips of last three months for salaried persons, complete pension book for retired, financial statements/ income affidavit for self-employed, business and for any other income.
    • Latest Income Tax Returns of all earning members & business.
    • Latest Wealth Statement.
    • Business Partnership Deed / Business Closure Document, if any.
    • Bank Statements (for the last 12 months) of all bank accounts in the names of all the 8 family members and in the name of business (duly stamped by the concerned bank).
    • Utility Bills (last three months) – Electricity, Gas, PTCL, Water.
    • Rental Lease Agreement (if the residence or any other property is being leased for residence or business purposes or if excess property is leased to any other person/ party for income purposes).
    • Copies of Saving Certificates/ Bonds/ Shares/ CDC Statement.
    • Loan Affidavit/Loan document(s) of outstanding loan as a liability Medical Bills/ expenditure related documents (if any of the family members is suffering from any fatal/ serious disease).
    • Credit Card Statements for last 6 months (if applicable).
    • Property Ownership Documents (house, plots, agricultural land, flat, shops etc.). Allotment letter in case the property has been provided by the employer.
    • Sale Deed of any asset sold during last 5 years.
    • Legal Documents (Court orders/FIR), in case any asset is under litigation or disputed.
    • Vehicle(s) Registration Documents of the vehicles being used by the family. Allotment letter in case the vehicle has been provided by the employer.
    • Mortgage/ Lease Document(s) (in case house, car or any other property has been taken/ given on lease).
    • Copies of CNIC/ B – Form of Applicant and Parents/ Guardian.
    • Complete Photocopy of Passport of Applicant and Parents/ Guardian.
    • Divorce/Separation Papers of parents, if applicable.
    • Death Certificate, in case any of the parent has passed away.
    • Picture(s) of current residence (Outside & Inside View).
    • Any other document(s) demonstrating financial need.

    Assessment Process :

    • The management will assess the financial need of candidates and will determine whether the candidate’s family has adequate resources to pay monthly fee. The need is determined on the basis of the financial credentials submitted by the parents. The decision and its review follow the stages outlined below:
    • The staff at the Office of Financial Aid checks and reconciles the information on the financial aid form against the documents provided including their tenure and validity; seeking clarifications from the applicant/ student on anomalies, if any.
    • Applicants are contacted for retrieval of discrepant documents (where necessary).
    • Student Evaluation tests are conducted to assess the capability of a student which will be later followed by an interview of both student and parent.

    The school reserves the right to accept or reject any application based on the decision taken by the management.
