Healthy Food – Why Drakken?

Healthy Food – Nourishing Minds & Bodies

Promoting Wellness Through Nutrition

At Drakken, we believe that a healthy mind begins with a healthy body. That’s why we’ve introduced a live kitchen on campus that prepares and serves fresh, nutritious, and delicious food daily. This initiative helps cultivate lifelong healthy eating habits among our students and supports their academic and physical development.

Our school kitchen is more than just a place to eat — it’s a space where children learn about nutrition, balance, and responsible food choices. Parents can rest assured that their children are consuming hygienic and nourishing meals during the school day.

  • Serves freshly prepared food like sandwiches, burgers, omelettes, parathas, and seasonal items.
  • No junk food policy – only clean, healthy, and balanced options are available.
  • Food is prepared under strict hygiene standards by trained staff.
  • Acts as a model for nutrition education and mindful eating practices.

Since the school does not have a canteen, parents must strictly adhere to the prescribed lunch menu as junk food is strictly prohibited. Any exceptions for medical reasons must be communicated via the designated WhatsApp group.

To ensure hygiene and prevent mix-ups, all water bottles and lunch boxes must be clearly labeled. If parents are unable to provide lunch due to unforeseen circumstances, they must inform the school via WhatsApp. Temporary lunch arrangements can be made on a cash payment basis through the staff mess.

Drakken's healthy food program is an essential part of our mission to nurture well-rounded individuals — students who not only excel in academics but also in making wise lifestyle decisions.
