Sports Program

Physical fitness is a core component of the wider curriculum. Students are required to meet the physical standards set for their respective classes and actively participate in inter-class and inter-school sports competitions. This ensures that they develop discipline, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

We have a monthly calendar that is shared on GCR along with other notices and schedules. The calendar includes all events such as educational trips, sports day, indoor activities, and exam periods.

Outdoor Games

Our outdoor sports offerings help students build athletic excellence and core life skills like discipline, resilience, and leadership. Certified coaches and high-quality facilities ensure that every student thrives physically and personally.

Outdoor games include: Football, Horse Riding, Countryside Race, Archery, Badminton, Skipping, and Running Races.

Horse Riding

Horse riding is a signature program at Drakken, inspired by Principal Omer Saleem—an international horseback archery champion. Students learn proper riding techniques, balance, and horse care while developing a strong emotional bond with the animals.

This experience promotes confidence, grace, and discipline. Under Principal Omer’s visionary guidance, students explore equestrian sports not only as riders but as caretakers and champions of this noble tradition.

Archery
