Purposeful Use of Technology in Learning

At Drakken, technology is seamlessly integrated into everyday academics to enhance learning and communication. All classrooms are equipped with Smart screens that support visual and interactive instruction, helping students better understand and engage with lesson content.

We use Google Classroom not just as a learning tool, but also as our primary platform for:

  • Online diaries and homework submission
  • Academic communication with students and parents
  • Weekly SPRs and Announcments posting.
  • Monthly academic calendar sharing for transparency and planning

Our academic ecosystem is supported by Google Suite for Education, enabling students and staff to collaborate, communicate, and manage tasks efficiently in a secure environment.

Weekly Student Progress Reports (SPRs) are sent to parents, keeping them consistently informed about their child's academic performance and behavior.

We offer hands-on exposure to essential digital skills in our on-campus computer lab. Structured computing sessions build student confidence and competence in using technology from an early age.

To support reading and digital literacy, students also use Kindles, which provide access to a wide range of age-appropriate e-books and promote independent reading habits driven by student interests.

Through this purposeful use of technology, Drakken ensures that students are equipped with the tools and habits they need for success in a modern, digital world.
